Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 19 April 2025
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones the Tenang website uses, and how you can control them. We have kept the language as plain as possible — please take a moment to read it.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work properly and to give website owners information about how people use their site.
Cookies do not contain personal information by themselves — they typically store a small identifier that allows the website to recognise your browser on a return visit. Some cookies are removed when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay on your device for a set period (persistent cookies).
Cookies We Use
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are placed by third-party services we use. These services have their own privacy and cookie policies:
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics (analytics.google.com)
- Google Ads — advertising performance tracking
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising measurement
- Google Maps — embedded map display (only loads if you view the map section)
We do not sell your data to third parties. Where third-party cookies are used, this is only with your consent (where required).
Cookie Duration
Session Cookies
Temporary cookies that are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used to keep basic site functions working during a single visit.
Persistent Cookies
These remain on your device after your browser session ends, for a fixed period (typically 90 days to 2 years depending on cookie type). They can be deleted manually through your browser settings.
